Salado's first bed and breakfast is located in the heart of this unique village. The Inn at Salado is within walking distance to the finest shops and restaurants in the town. It displays both a Texas Historical Marker and a National Register Listing. The Inn offers 7 individual guest rooms and a private cottage. The antique decor and ambiance is enhanced by the friendly staff that invites you to relax and unwind. The bench swings, rocking chairs, and shaded terraces make the Inn a perfect place for that social visit with friends or a romantic getaway. The spacious grounds include a chapel, buffet room and a covered pavilion for full service weddings and receptions. Built in 1872 to be a private residence, it now has the reputation of being one of the premier B&B's in the area. The Inn has become the home away from home for business travelers and antique shoppers alike.
All guestrooms have private baths, most of which come with antique claw- footed tubs. In addition guestrooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans and telephones.

Turn left onto TX-71 East/Bastrop Highway. Merge onto Bastrop Highway/TX-71 West and continue for 1.1 miles. Merge onto US-183 North and continue for 1.8 miles. Merge onto Airport Boulevard/TX-111 Loop North toward TX-343 Loop/1st-5th-7th Streets and continue for 4.0 miles. Take the ramp toward US-290 East/I-35 North. Stay straight to go onto the ramp. Make a slight right turn onto I-35 North. Merge onto I-35 North/US-81 North via the ramp on the left and continue for 47.2 miles. Take Exit 284 toward Robertson Road. Stay straight to go onto I-35 North/Stagecoach Road. Turn right onto Thomas Arnold Road. Turn right to stay on Thomas Arnold Road. Continue until you reach the property.
