In the tranquility of this historic neighborhood, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the Market district, you can awake to the sound of St. Michael's chiming in the distance, just as they have for more than 200 years, and the scent of Confederate jasmine in the air. The house is furnished with family antiques and artwork, much of which has been in the owner's family for generations. The inn offer lots of good books and music, but no television. A full Southern breakfast is served on English porcelain, sterling silver and Waterford crystal in the formal dining room each morning. Join the owners and concierge for afternoon sherry in the Drawing Room and let them make all your arrangements for dinners and tours. Guests are welcome to enjoy the private courtyard garden with fountain and the piazza and swing.
The Hayne House offers six rooms and suites, each one with its special charm. All rooms feature premium designer bed linens and Turkish cotton bathrobes, central heating and air-conditioning, radio/alarm clock, and an iron/ironing board and hair dryer.
