Rich in history and beauty, this home offers a chance to experience the America of 154 years ago, while still being close to all the fun on the modern North Coast. Guests will be greeted by a staff member on arrival to plan the details of their stay. The house was updated with the addition of whole house air, and complete restoration in 2003-2004. There are four bedrooms, one with its own bath, and a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub on the upper level. Downstairs is the formal parlor, the recreational parlor with a DVD player and surround sound system, and a game table with an abundance of board games for guests use. The formal dining room is near the country eat-in kitchen, where guests may choose to do their own cooking. A bathroom featuring a turn-of-the-century giant claw foot tub completes the house. This property offers a complete breakfast each morning and menu is anything the guest wants, and at whatever time the guest wants it. Large shade trees, a lovely outdoor dining area, and lots of lawn make the outside another enjoyable living space. **Please call ahead to receive approval to bring a pet.**
Whether the room is decorated with a German-Victorian style or a romantic flair, guests will feel comfortable in these blissful rooms. Some of the rooms have wonderful antiques from 150 years ago while others marvel in beautiful wood furniture. Guests will feel like they are leaving the modern world behind as much as possible when in these rooms that are designed for sleeping without distraction and other pastimes suggested by the peace and quiet. Each room has air-conditioning, a desk, a refrigerator, and smoke detectors. Guests will also receive sweets at turndown and are able to soak in their whirlpool tubs whenever they want to. Play music on the CD player/stereo while relaxing in the living/dining area or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere of the entire inn.
