The Guggisberg Swiss Inn would like to welcome you to Holmes County. You're invited to spend time in one of the largest and friendliest Amish communities in the world. At the Guggisberg Swiss Inn, you can feel the true ambience of Amish Country. The inn itself sits atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Doughty Valley and is surrounded by Amish farms, just two miles North of Charm, which is said to have more Amish buggy traffic than anywhere else in the world. Each morning enjoy a complimentary Swiss breakfast served in the glassed in breakfast room overlooking the duck pond and orchard. You may site a deer or a fox coming down to take a drink out of the pond. Breakfast consists of ham and cheese, fresh breads, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Spend a day at the riding stables, curled up with a good book in front of a roaring fire in the common room, soaking in the hot tub, or hiding away in your room. Enjoy amenities and services including, daily newspaper, meeting facilities, movie library, and a playground.
Each room features the country charm you would expect in Amish country. All accommodations feature air conditioning, alarm clock radio, cable/satellite TV and VCR, coffeemaker and complimentary coffee, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. Suites also feature a balcony/patio, bathrobes, a whirlpool bath, and full kitchen.
