Location. Acanto Hotel and Suites inhabits a gated Hacienda-style community in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Located 40 miles south of Cancun, this hotel is steps from the lovely beaches of the Mexicana Caribbean coast. A half-block from the Acanto Hotel and Suites is Fifth Avenue ("Quinta Avenida"), an area reminiscent of an old village, filled with dining, shopping and entertainment. The Xcaret Theme Park is just one highway exit away, and offers guests an opportunity to experience preserved Mayan culture. Park highlights include flora and fauna, water attractions and "swim with the dolphins" tours. A thirty-mile drive will bring visitors to ancient Mayan ruins.

From Cancun Airport:
Take the highway south toward Tulum.
After about 20 minutes you will pass a little town called Puerto Morelos.
Continue straight for approximately 20 more minutes to Playa del Carmen.
Keep going until Constituyentes approaches (There is a gas station on the corner of the left side).
Turn left and go straight to a traffic light (this is the intersection with 30th Street).
Continue straight out until 1st Avenue (Porto Real is on the corner) and turn to the right.
Go one block to 16th street and turn to the right.
The hotel is in the middle of this block in the left side.
