Location. Located just five miles from the Montego Bay Airport, the historical Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, takes travelers back to its English colonial roots with sophisticated style. The resort sits less than eight miles from the Crafts Market and ten miles from the Montego Bay Shopping Centre.
Hotel Features. Surrounded by 400 acres of trees, gardens, wetland reserve and more than one mile of private beaches, the Half Moon Resort provides a decidedly different take on luxury accommodations. Armed with superb service, the resort offers guests a chance to encounter dolphins, ride horses, golf, play tennis and swim to their heart's content in the ocean and two outdoor pools. The first choice of celebrities, dignitaries and royalty, the Half Moon treats each guest equally important and makes children a top priority, with a children's center, game room supervised activities and babysitting. Guests craving some pampering flock to the health spa, saunas and steam rooms. The Jamaican Bush Bath is one popular treatment at the spa. Business services are available when guests' travels necessitate such. A business center features high-speed Internet access. Yoga and Pilates are offered at the on-site fitness center. Dining options include five restaurants, including the Seagrape Terrace, with delicious Jamaican cuisine set off by island and dance music. Just off the hotel's golf course is the Sugar Mill, open for dinner only and featuring such specialties as chicken-pineapple stew with tumeric-passionfruit sauce. La Baguette, serving grilled specialties, opens out onto one of the pools.
