Within one mile is Longboat Key's main shopping area, with a supermarket, drug store, restaurants, tennis courts, bike rentals, video rentals and the public library. Dozens of golf courses are located in the surrounding area, and there is plenty of other recreation to be found. Swimming, shelling, water sports and parasailing are all offered locally. Nature lovers will enjoy this property's proximity to the Mote Marine Laboratory/Aquarium and the Pelican Bird Sanctuary, each just eight miles away.

Gulfstream Avenue will turn into Gulf of Mexico Drive.
