Known for its sunshine, sand and incredible seascapes, the area also hosts a number of boutiques, galleries and fine dining establishments. Swimming, kayaking, sailing, biking and hiking are popular activities, with the waterfront and pier perfect for relaxing sunset strolls. Cosmopolitan Vancouver is just 18 miles away, and the border to the United States a mere four miles from the inn. Plenty of nightlife exists and there are several good museums in the area. Charters to nearby islands make for great day trips.

Expert Tip. The Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park in Vancouver, 34 miles from the inn, is a beautiful park with a footbridge suspended 225 feet above the Capilano River. A new attraction called "Treetops Adventure" features bouncy bridges attached to giant trees trunks 80 feet above the forest floor.

Park in the driveway.
