This Victoria, B.C. bed and breakfast guest house, located in Oak Bay on Vancouver Island, is a gracious old Victorian home built in 1912 in the Tudor half-timbered style. It is the oldest continuously operating B&B in Victoria and possibly British Columbia. There have been return guests from 1942. The bed and breakfast has 11 guestrooms and two sitting rooms. The lower fireplace lounge, with its Inglenook fireplace, provides a cozy spot to relax in. The upper floor has sun room lounge overlooking the bridal garden with large comfortable chairs, sofas, a television, ferns and tropical plants, tea and coffee facilities, and an extensive library. The dining room offers a romantic restaurant setting with private tables. The guest house provides a complimentary four-course breakfast. The private garden is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.
Eleven charming rooms offer queen, double and twin beds with elegant decor, yet they are designed to make guests feel comfortable during their stay. All rooms have private baths and some have old-fashioned claw-footed tubs for that added luxury. Two deluxe studio suites are available. A sweeping staircase brings guests to six of the 11 rooms and the sun room lounge. The foyer welcomes guests into this gracious home. Each room is comfortably furnished with period wallpaper, carpeting and antique furniture. There are two twin bed rooms, two doubles, and seven queen bed rooms. The house also has two studio suites with sitting rooms and queen beds in the bedrooms.

Take a left on Willingdon Road, and then continue on Canora Road. Turn left on McTavish Road. Turn right on BC-17 and drive for 14.6 miles. Turn left on Johnson Street. Turn right on Pandora Avenue. Then continue on Oak Bay Avenue, which will become Newport Avenue. Follow to the property.

How about trying out our Antique Tandem Bicycle? It really is fun and you will love exploring Oak Bay tree lined streets to perhaps go and study a Bald Eagle nest about five minutes away. It has been occupied for many, many years and it is delightful to see the young eaglets waiting for food and learning to fly. Is golf your game? The Victoria Golf Club is the third oldest in North America and boasts that Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Arthur Godfrey were members. The location is outstanding and for a real golfing treat book up for a round. It is a little expensive but it is something you will talk about for a long time. Of course there are other very nice courses not far away and you can tee up a time. Some of the best salmon fishing in the world is available from the Marina just a few steps away. Scenery, fishing: It doesn't get any better. Tennis courts are available close by, and cricket is played on Sundays and you can have High Tea and watch the match.
