This 1885 Victorian B&B retains its original grandeur and charms guests with romance and luxury. Amethyst Inn is surrounded by mansions and heritage gardens in the beautiful Rocklands neighbourhood and is just a short walk to the Lieutenant Governor's Estate, Craigdarroch Castle, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and Antique Row. Amethyst Inn at Regents Park is a heritage jewel, the most historically significant Inn in Victoria BC and Victoria's most preferred Inn. It is the first private residence to have received Heritage Designation in the province of British Columbia. This historic inn is luxurious and embellished with many unique architectural features including stained glass, fireplaces with Minton's tiles, ceiling rosettes and original ceiling and wallpapers. The parlor and dining room are impressive and the Inn is filled with antiques. Enjoy a delightful breakfast each morning in the dining room. Breakfast is presented on antique crystal and china and the menu changes daily. Enjoy a social hour in the parlor in the evening.
Amethyst Inn at Regents Park B&B Inn features accommodations that are unique, romantic and special in their own way. Each room has a sitting area, and a private bathroom with either a two person whirlpool Jacuzzi spa tub, two person deep soaking tub or an old-fashioned claw foot tub. Rooms and Suites have fireplaces and each unique room features either a king or queen bed, many with impressive canopy or four-poster beds.

| 1501 Fort Street, Victoria, BC - From Swartz Bay Ferry: When you leave the ferry at Swartz Bay just follow the traffic. You will be on Highway #17 for a 30-minute drive into Victoria. When you arrive in the city limits of Victoria Highway #17 becomes Blanshard Street. Stay on this street for approximately two miles. Watch for "View Street" which is the street one block before Fort Street. You will need to be in the left turn lane so as to be able to turn left at Fort Street, which is a one-way street. Fort St. becomes a two way street after about one mile. Approximately three blocks further you will see St Charles Street. Turn right at St Charles and take the first drive way on you left and you will have arrived at Amethyst Inn.

Of course there are other very nice courses not far away and you can tee up a time. Some of the best salmon fishing in the world is available from the Marina just a few steps away. Scenery, fishing: It doesn't get any better. Tennis courts are available, and cricket is played on Sundays and you can have High Tea and watch the match.
